Hello! I’m trying to be more active in hobby spaces!

Hello!  I’ve been lurking here for several weeks now and decided to bite the bullet and join the forum proper!  I’m fairly new to the doll hobby and this is my first time participating in a forum setting like this.

I’m a huge nerd and an overall crafty person.  I love doing faceups and sewing clothes for my group!  I got my first doll, a DD Hatsune Miku, in 2016 and my collection has slowly grown to six!  My group includes 5 vinyl dolls and one resin doll, I have found that I much prefer vinyl to resin because vinyl dolls are easier for me to handle.

I also have a BJD Instagram!  I don’t post there much but I should start posting on there more soon as I’m currently working on finishing three of my dolls

I also prefer vinyl to resin for the same reason, that and the feel of vinyl.  I got my first 65 cm male doll in vinyl and I just love him.  I love my other resin boy too, but vinyl is magical.  I also love armature dolls because of how well they hold poses.

I will follow you on Insta!  I used to shoot my dolls super often but I haven’t in a long while.  I love taking pictures of them out in nature, and there are some good spots nearby for sure.  Welcome welcome!  I can’t wait to see your doll family and your sewing creations!

Thank you!  I shall give you a follow back, hopefully I can get my dolls all finished soon so I can start uploading pictures there and here!

and holding poses is definitely the number one reason I prefer vinyl haha.  I love my resin boy to death but he’s very floppy atm and restringing/sueding/wiring him is an intimidating task that I’m not ready for yet XD
