Thanks, that's really reassuring! I also didn't know about the user groups tag, so that's super useful to know 😄

As a side note--I fiddled around with some stuff and found out I could see just the lottery order if I went back through the promo link for the event (it's like my account is split in two depending on how I access the site)--super confusing, but glad I was able to figure that out, too.✌️

My order history now lists Arle as pending for me, that also definitely means I've won her right?? I really hope so, I'd really love to have her here for the start of the New Year!

 

Edit: 😬 Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow, but now I'm worrying I didn't get her...No user group(is it somewhere really obvious? Mine looks like the usual "edit info" page), when I tried to go to Arle's page from my browser history, I get a 404...

It seems I did the weird account split thing manaphyyy mentioned above by accident without realizing. So my pending result probably doesn't mean anything...😢 here's hoping to tomorrow...lol

If you're flagged as a winner, the User Groups tab would appear on your profile right here:

(It's empty for me because I didn't enter this lottery.)

The "account split" thing is a product of how VolksUSA's website works: basically, there's the Dollfie site, and then there's the Dollfie Events site. If an item is only listed on the Events site, it won't come up on a search on the regular site, and vise versa. I *think* your shopping cart carries over between the two, but your Wishlist is separate (which has made me worry my wishlist disappeared a few times when I was looking at event things, haha).

Ah, thank you for both the picture and the explanation! What a weird way to do that...You'd think it'd be simpler to add a lotto entries tab separate from orders or something similar. Sadly no user group for me...but hopefully that's not always the only indicator to whether someone wins or not every time. 😫 Best of luck to everyone tomorrow!

I think it does. I accidentally double ordered something once, because I had it in my cart through the normal site before an event, logged in to the event site and didn’t see that item in my cart so I added it again, and then failed to realize I now had two in my cart at checkout.

You will always have a group if you won an item, pretty sure it’s a security group that gives you access to the item that you won on the product page. For large events it can take them awhile to get all all the groups populated for the items you won, but they will show up for every winner eventually. 

I'm in the Ranko user group, so I've got a new girl coming (1st one in 3 years).  But sadly with how poorly USPS is handling packages, there is no way I'll get her before Christmas.  Thanks for the heads up about her socks, odd that they stain so quick when the stand alone black socks they sell don't.  You'd think they would be out of the same material.  I'm also going to get the body protector, so she should be okay (Right?).  Perhaps I should go ahead and get some Dream Rescue too.  Now I need to pick a name for her, and find more gothic lolita for her to wear! (Still undecided if she'll be a chuuni.  Need to spend some time with her to see what her personality is.).

 

Oh, the order history between the normal site and the event (lottery) site are different.  Once I discovered the user group, and that you can see the items you've won early, I've always wondered what would happen if you went ahead and added the item(s) to your cart and checked out, would it ship early, or would you lose your winnings.

I think she should be ok. Mine got streaks from her’s as opposed to great black spots. What might look better than a full body suit is a pair of white tights. Coolcats sells those, and I think all you really have to worry about is the socks.

I got those socks to replace her’s and mistakenly put her defaults on her thinking they were the replacements...

If the official results were due tomorrow, you should be getting a winning email sometime between 12 AM Pacific time tonight and 5 PM tomorrow. If you don’t see it right after midnight, it will probably be tomorrow sometime. 

I won the DDh-20 girl! I was planning on doing this exact doll through dream choice next year so I am really stoked 😄

So sorry to all the people who didnt get their dollies, especially Arle ;_; That was probably the lottery the most people entered...

I entered for like five of these girls, Arle, and four or so of the girls from the SD Holiday One-Off promotion and it looks like no dice for any of them (ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣﹏ᵕ̣̣̣̣̣̣)

Maybe one of these days I will win a Volks lottery!

Losing Takane and Rin Tohsaka really felt bad, but it didn't stop me from entering future lotteries. Pretty much, if you don't enter you will never win.

The win rates today are a lot better than they were when I lost Rin & Takane, and I wish Volks Japan still did lotteries instead of click wars for DD. The click wars take their site down more often than not, and at that point you have less chance than you do in a lottery. 

The Ranko and Arle lotteries were undoubtedly for a small stock of leftovers as opposed to a normal release lottery, so win rates weren't going to be high.

To follow up on my confusion post, I did indeed win Arle! I was able to snag a Kizuna Ai recently, too, so soon I'll have the other most adorably cheerful girl 😄

i didn't win arle during the lottery, but i manged to get her on yja for a good price. shes been my grail doll for years 😭 

I was able to win Arle, I was surprised to see that Volks USA has already mailed her out! I picked UPS shipping but it seems it’s going to take Arle almost 3 weeks to arrive.
