Mashiro in her school uniform

For Christmas, I got Mashiro the Volks Natsuki School Uniform set. I hadn't had time to take shots of her wearing until now. She seemed pretty excited to get to wear it tho. But since this was her first time posing for pictures on her own, I think she was a bit shy and nervous.... so please forgive the stiff posing in some of the pics.

 

Also, I'm using my new lens on these pics and it's still messing with me on light settings. I just need more time on this one to get familiar with how it works in certain amounts of light. So some of these pics may look a bit washed out. T_T

 

Anyway, please enjoy Mashiro in her new outfit!

 

Mashiro is all set to do some posing for me. The baggy socks she is using didn't come with this set.... I just love how they look so I added them over the regular socks.

 

 

 

 

I really liked this pose for her... I just wish the light hadn't washed her face out so badly. T_T

 

 

Same here, that darn jacket just soaks up the light! XD

Now this was the last picture I took WITHOUT a tripod. After I took this one, I suddenly recalled that I had one in the back closet. I went and grabbed it and after it was all set up, I was amazed at what it did for the picture quality!

 

 

THIS is the first pic I took using a tripod. Looks like I need to use one ALL the time with this lens! XD

 

 

She looks a little more sure of herself here doesn't she? I really love her tail! It curves around her legs so nicely here. She's just too adorable! =3

Thank you very much! That dark navy blue really does eat up light, I didn't think it would be so bad. I think I can adjust for it next time tho. I appreciate you saying my pics are expressive, I'm flattered.

Thanks! I love loose socks on DD's so I use them whenever I get a chance to. And I think she is finally warming up to me more too. Hanging out with her sisters has loosened her up a bit and now that she's done some photos for me, I think we will get along better.

Thanks! I just had to keep her ears and tail on, it made everything so much cuter. And Mashiro says to tell Natsuki that she will see her on the roof at lunch so she can share some onigiri with her!

Thank you! I really like the look of school uniforms on DD's, they always really cute in them.

 

I hope you can eventually get to where you're comfortable making your own clothes. It sure makes sense to make your own if you have the time and skill.... both of which I have none. So I'm left to buy what I want instead of making it.

I just LOVE Mashiro so much in this uniform. I'm so happy that she is warming up to you and she did such a great job with this photoshoot.

 

I really love the quality of the ones where she took the jacket off and you used the tripod. You managed to really capture some great images of her gorgeous face.

 

Plus the baggy socks and the tail wrapped around her leg...so moe!! I loved it!!! She is such a cutie and I'm so happy to see her modeling this outfit. ^_^
