Um, apparently Pope Gregory XIII, at least according to Wikipedia. The Gregorian calendar is the one we use day-to-day, solar based instead of lunar like the traditional Chinese one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar [/nerd]
