Dream Choice tan/brown question

Hi all!

I'm considering picking up an MDD or DDP in tan via a proxy service in the spring. My question is if it's possible to get extra hands in tan at the time? I don't even know if Volks produce extra hand sets in tan colour.. but thought someone might know I just love having lots of hand options!

There are tan hand parts - both the regular size and deka size, bust parts and the swivel wrist joints. (The wrists may or may not be discontinued now that all the bodies are f3 and those wrists are now standard) Those are the only optional parts sold separately in tan (ie no arms/thighs/shins/feet/lower torso part/heads), but they're sold alongside all the other hand/bust parts year round so your proxy can pick them up no problem.

But, since you mentioned DDP I should probably mention that the problem is there still isnt hand parts specifically for DDP in -any- skin tone. They can use both MDD and regular DD hands, and also the new big MDD hands, but I think both look slightly off - the regular DD hands look oversized and the MDD hands look too babyish. Your mileage may vary there, but the hands that come standard with the actual DDPs themselves are a different size to either of these, so I don't know if or when they intend to make a full set of them.

Ah, I didn't even think about the inbetween hand size for DDP... they have the MDD hands listed for DDP on the online store so I assumed they would be interchangable, but you're right that there's a big difference between the child like hands of the MDD body and the grown up hands of a DD body! I really like the body proportions of the DDP but I understand there are drawbacks to the size, now including the hands! Will have to have a good think before I place an order.
