Unboxing Sekiya Yuu Little Devil ver. (Obitsu 24cm)

I haven’t made any videos on my doll channel for...ages, not since Luka’s unboxing in 2018, but I decided I wanted to revive my doll channel and try to put more effort into it this time.

I even have a corny, kinda badly made intro now!
 

I still have two more unboxings to post (one is from November 2018 and one is from October 2020), but unfortunately other ones I lost when my computer died in early 2018, or I never took the videos to begin with. (I do kinda regret not doing one for Arle 2nd or 9S now!)

Anyway, I first wanted to do a video for Sekiya because she’s my first ever obitsu 24cm doll so opening her was a new experience for me. Also she’s extremely adorable.

I was never super interested in Obitsu but this video makes me want to look into maybe getting one, she's just too precious. I was surprised to see she comes with so many hand options, that's so fun! 

I personally really love the way you make youtube videos. They are really fun to watch. I love your background display and the music playing was really fun! I subscribed and I hope to see more videos from you regularly if you feel up to it. We need more youtubers, seriously!!

I was interested in the Obitsu Uniform Project dolls - these rooted headcap ones with inset eyes, for a little bit but it was this tan version of Sekiya Yuu that made me take the plunge. They really are adorable.

I’m glad to hear you like the video, it’s the first one I’ve done like this and I decided it would be the new format from now on. I was worried all the text might be distracting. It’s the first unboxing video I filmed inside my big new light box, which really makes a difference. My older ones are pretty amateurish and the Luka one has kinda bad lighting. I used to try too hard to match up the visuals to songs I like but now I’m just using music from hurtrecord - it’s a jp royalty free music site organised by theme. I’ve been having fun going through the whole database and saving the URLs of ones I like in a notepad file so I can find them later.

OBITSU's new standard of 24/26cm. doll bodies are indeed a beautiful gift from above for 1/6 doll enthusiasts, aren't they?
