Party of the Dragons

 

 

 

 

Nanoha: "Ah, hello Agatha."

Agatha: "Hey, um. You."

 

 

Agatha: "What on earth are you eating?"

 

 

Nanoha: "Oh, you mean this?"

 

 

Nanoha: "It's sashimi. Raw salmon."

 

 

Nanoha: "Where I was born, this was something people often ate to celebrate something."

 

 

Agatha: "I hate to say it, but you eat some weird food."

Nanoha: "Well, I know it's not for everyone, but there's no disputing tastes, right?"

 

 

Agatha: "Ah yes. Degustibus non est disputandum, I suppose."

Nanoha: "That's what I just said isn't it?"

 

 

Agatha: "After all, not everyone is enough of an epicure to appreciate this."

 

 

Nanoha: "I know degustibus and all that, but I'm still afraid to know what animal that came from."

 

 

Nanoha: "No! Bad Pancake! This isn't for you, even if it is the Year of the Dragon."

 

 

Agatha: "Wait, did you just say Year of the Dragon?"

 

 

Nanoha: "Well, yes I did. Why?"

 

 

Nanoha: "Wait, where did you come from, little one?"

 

 

Agatha: "Ugh. Just great. Having a whole year dedicated to them is going to flush them out of the woodwork."

 

 

Nanoha: "Who 'them'? The dragons? There can't be that many dragons around here."

Pancake: *SLURP*

 

 

Nanoha: "Bad Pancake! I can't believe you even ate the plate. We've got to work on discipline. . ."

 

 

Nanoha: "You've got to set an example for. . . these two?"

*HOP*

 

 

Nanoha: "Um, okay, just make yourself comfortable there why don't you."

 

 

Agatha: "They wouldn't even consider coming here if Poof didn't feed them so often. Listen, I'm gonna go get a net or something. Use this to keep them occupied."

 

 

Nanoha: "Well, alright, but I think it'd be better if you brought my staff, Raising Heart."

Agatha: "Yeah, whatever."

 

 

Nanoha: "I can't say that even when one of my students was a dragon tamer that I ever had this happen before."

 

 

Agatha: "Well, I couldn't find a net, but I did manage to find this--"

 

 

Agatha: "Oh, come ON. Tell me you're kidding."

 

 

Nanoha: "Thanks for trying, but maybe you could get Poof? I think if she's been feeding them they may pay more attention to her."

 

 

Nanoha: "Though I guess feeding them didn't really help me, so that may be optimistic."

 

 

Nanoha: "And now I know that they call it 'dragon breath' for a reason."

 

 

Agatha: "Help from Poof? That basketcase? She'll probably want to KEEP them all!"

 

 

Nanoha: "Well, it's that or send them to my dragon trainer student Caro, and I get the feeling these guys aren't going to like getting teleported."

 

 

*THUD*

Poofiemus: Alright, that's the last one! Now we can start the Year of the Dragon PARTY!

Agatha: "I should have known.

 

 

Agatha: "Just for the record, Poof, this is probably one of the stupidest things you've ever done. Besides making Pancake that is."

Nanoha: "I sure hope you have an explanation for why there are so many dragons even though this is a non-magical world."

Agatha: *SIGH.*

I have to agree with Agatha (who is looking quite lovely in the lady vampire outfit) that fish should be cooked before eaten and also feel sorry for poor Nanoha being glomped by so many dragons.

Wow! I think you need a few more dragons around your place. And here I thought kitsune infestations were problematic. Now I'm certain that if one of my girls brings home a dragon we're not letting it stay year of the dragon or not.

 

It seems Nahona is the patient sort to put up with all those dragons glomping her.

All those dragons are awesome! So is Agatha in that outfit. That sushi looks amazing. Poor Nanoha though!

Thanks! I'm glad I was able to win the click war on that outfit. But I disagree on the fish. Raw fish is loud, and

. Getting dragon-glomped isn't horrible, but when they're all that cute you start to realize that human beings totally need more than two arms.

Yup I do. You can NEVER have too many dragons! But I suppose that's evidence that the dragon population really IS all my fault. XD Yeah, Nanoha is pretty patient most of the time, but by extension when she does get angry she stays angry, and you're toast. Just toast. Thankfully so far Agatha confuses her more than anything else.

Thanks! I actually think I may have missed some but I'm not sure. XD I do have quite a few dragons, though some are at my parents' rather than here.

 

The sushi is actually a cell phone strap from Strapya. It's probably made of silicone, since it's not just translucent but squishy. I also have a teriyaki chicken strap, but haven't found a reason to dig it out yet.

Thanks! ^_^ I'm always glad when I can bring a smile with my stories. It's good to know, too, that I'm not the only one with a soft spot for dragons! Honestly, that outfit is so well made I think it'll look good on nearly anybody; in fact, it makes me really wish Volks made stuff in human size because it's loads nicer than anything I own for myself! I'm glad too that other people like the eye upgrade as much as I do. Getting her to look good in this shoot was a breeze compared to the last one when she still had her defaults in.

 

Also, "nommulant" I think is my new favorite word. Mind if I mooch it?

Yup! They usually live scattered all over the house; it wasn't until I piled them all on top of Nanoha that it started to feel like a lot though. XD Fourteen including Pancake and the kite, by the way.

Aw, thanks! I wuv my Pancake, though he and Agatha kind of have a sibling rivalry thing going on. XD I'm hoping to end up with at least one more dragon, another Night Fury, but we'll see if that pans out in the end.

I just love your story! Every time I scrolled down and there were more and more dragons I laughed more and more! I shudder, though, to think what might happen if we get to the year of the rat or something equally aweful!
