Any other brands with the same aesthetic as Volks?

So i have grown to like the anime style faces of Volks dollfies recently, just wondering if there are any other manufactures with this same face style?

 

 

If you mean vinyl, I actually think Azone/Obitsu’s Iris Collect line comes the closest. They’re a slightly different scale - 50cm, but with adult proportions and scaled down so they have smaller heads than DDs (unlike the 50cm DD size, DDP, which is intended to look like a young girl).

They also have a line of more childlike ones which are similar to Volks MDDs - Iris Collect Petit.

There’s a thread on them here: note that it’s for Azone50cm in general which encompasses a few sub brands including Iris Collect which is relatively newer (the older ones have painted eyes). Linking directly to Cauldy’s post with her adorable girl as an example.

Besides being very cute dolls they’re a little more affordable and accessible than the average DD in terms of what’s included in a set and the fact that you can buy them on a wide variety of hobby shop sites like amiami, hobbysearch etc.

there’s also smartdoll, but I don’t think their aesthetic is quite as similar other than also being anime styled.
