Geoffryhawk Posted March 22, 2021 Hello! I'm getting my first girl, a Mochi Ashi MDD body with a custom DWC-01 head. I was curious about changing the torso for extra hip size? I like the look of DDS and DDdy hips, I've never modded a doll before, so was curious as to what kinds of modding people had done for them? I've seen a mod with a DDP torso which looked quite interesting! I'm a little nervous about modding myself haha, as I primarily own resin dolls and would be terrified to mod them. Haha. Guest Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) omg I'd be surprised if you can even get those pieces to fit flush together?! DDS and DDdy are like SD 1/3 scale, whereas MDD and DDP are similar to MSD 1/4. No Mochi body here for comparison as this is before them, but the Mochi chub is all in the legs so I don't know if it'd affect the mod much. Mochi MDD with a chubby body (besides JUST legs n feet) too would have been so cute but then so much clothes wouldn't fit. I would probably just have stretchy leggings and skirts. Haha. (or possibly Big Baby clothes? Those are very chubby 1/4 dolls) DDP might be the way to go then, if I end up trying to mod haha. For the legs I've seen people buy SD sized socks to get it to fit- it just required some folding/trimming down. I definitely want thigh high stockings for her. Yes I'm thinking she'll mostly wear skirts haha, or dresses. Thank you for the ideas!! I'm very excited to start dressing her.
