Newbie ready to take the plunge!

While I made this account a while ago, I've only just started truly delving into this forum and I have to say it's put my mind at ease to see some of my fears alleviated about various things like staining and such.  I've got a number of resin dolls already but I'm planning on getting my first Dollfie Dream very soon, a DDS Karin, and am eager to see the differences.  Who knows, maybe my focus will change to Dollfie Dreams instead!

I'm looking forward to learning more about this side of the doll collecting hobby and can't wait to "officially" get started! 😊

My DDDY Towa says hi - she and Karin are featured in a lot of promos together. I always think Karin looks a little more streetwise than Towa though.

I was worried about staining but when my girl got a bad stain on her hand I lifted it out using acne ointment. The worst thing was going to the pharmacy to buy the stuff - I so wanted to tell them it was for my doll and not for me 😳. Anyway if you're worried then get a bodysuit and stick to lighter clothing. I don't think our stain problems were due to clothing.

Anyway, enjoy that new doll smell 😊. My girl is nearly 8 months old now so she doesn't smell like a new doll, but she is now part of the furniture (and we also have some Dollfie furniture 🪑).

Thank you all so much!  I'm glad to be here and I can't wait to get my first Dollfie!  I've actually got one doll I'm selling on layaway that I'm putting the money towards getting Karin so she should be with me in the next month or so!

Towa is so cute!  And I know what you mean about that new doll smell, I love when I get a new resin doll and there's just that pleasant "new" scent to it 😆

Thank you!  She's a Mystic Kids Elisa Elf with the default faceup and a Monique Gold wig.  She's super cute and super sturdy.

58cm, so almost 2ft tall! 😄 So she's just a little bit bigger than what Karin is going to be.  AH! I'm so excited!
