I need urgent help with a second hand dd body

I put a deposit down on a semi white dd body 3 but I noticed some issues with her I will add photos but her leg joints have cracks on them and the arms looks weird like they not in place.

can someone help me the person want 150 just for the body is that ok?

The arms to me just look badly posed - worthwhile to confirm no damage - especially to internal shoulder joint, but yeah, just seems to me they weren’t properly put in place.  
 

The legs I’m not as sure what to think bc I don’t know how likely it is they get worse.  Still I suppose if they do get really bad, legs can be replaced.  If you’re not paying another arm and a leg for shipping, I feel like getting a body for 150 isn’t a bad deal.

I would second the arms just being out of place. The leg damage might be from the doll being forced into a kneeling position that the frame wasn’t designed to accommodate. One issue with the older body is that the arms protrude a bit at the shoulder, so what I am seeing isn’t atypical of the DDIII body  

It’s hard to tell from the photos, but the body doesn’t look SwS. It looks more like NS or it’s really badly yellowed. It’s possible that the yellow tint is just from indoor lighting tricking the camera’s white balance, but I’d hesitate to buy it without better photos. 

If the only issue is the knees $150 isn’t a bad price, but if the doll is yellowed save your money for a better body. 

I concur with the others overall about this body.  But here are some points to go over with the seller first:

 

Make sure it's SWS and not NS because as the pics seen show, it looks NS to me and others.

Ask about the inner torso shoulders being cracked.  The DD3 bodies are notorious for having the shoulder tubes on the inner upper torso frame crack and cause the arms to fall limp to the sides or not be able to be pushed in all the way.

Also ask about the vinyl behind the knees where it looks split.  See if they say what happened or if they know what caused it.

 

Overall I think $150 is a good price for that body as long as the only damage is the splits behind the knees.

This is a good point. Since f3 is now the only body Volks produces, you will be totally dependent on aftermarket for replacement parts on the older bodies. The upper frame at the shoulders, elbows, and the thighs at the hip were notorious for developing cracks on the DDIII & DDS bodies.

Yes my DDS Momo had an elbow crack within 2 weeks.
