Galvatim Posted January 28, 2012 I received Medicom's Evangelion 2.0 Shikinami Asuka Langley school uniform ver. today! HLJ had her on sale, and I've always wanted to get one of Medicom's Asukas. I'm pretty happy with her. 004 by galvatim, on Flickr With her box. You'll probably notice Asuka has molded plastic hair, rather than rooted hair. She's also got a few extra hands... 009 by galvatim, on Flickr So that she can play her video game! There's also a left hand with bandages, covering the cuts she got while cooking. Too bad Medicom didn't include her outfit with the apron... 015 by galvatim, on Flickr Asuka towers over Azone dolls! I'm kind of surprised, Medicom's Star Wars releases tend to be shorter than average. 019 by galvatim, on Flickr She doesn't quite fit in. Asuka'll have to find somewhere else to hang out... (probably my Asuka shelf!) It would be cool if Azone released Pure Neemo versions of Asuka, Rei and Mari though. I'm pretty happy with Asuka. Her ankle joints are really ugly, with rivets and hinges all over the place, but it's not a problem with this outfit, although there's a yellow dress version out the, with the ankle articulation sticking out above her shoes. I also have the yellow dress version, which was very hard to find, and the Volkswagen 1/6 yellow dress version (even harder to find).
