muphryslaw Posted August 27, 2021 How did you sand the vinyl so evenly and did you reinforce the thinner areas that show up translucent in light? Maybe Dollfie Dream vinyl is higher quality than the vinyl fashion dolls I’ve sanded, but I’ve always found the vinyl “pills” like an old sweater when sanding. I want a make vinyl doll and I’m trying to explore my options.
gaymergoose Posted December 14, 2021 this looks so cool! You did an amazing job at sanding, and the top surgery scars look great! As a trans doll collector myself, I live seeing trans dolls, especially customs.

Sorry for such a late reply, I don't know how I missed the notification I tried to remove as much as possible with my exacto knife so the sanding was minimal, just to level out the cuts I did. I sanded with multiple grits, from 220 to 1000. 1000 gives you the matte 'skin' texture that DDs have!
