Is the DD carrying case worth the $?

I am wanting a way to safely bring my MDD places and I am interested in the carrying bag Volks sells on their site.

 

Does anyone have it that could vouch for the quality? Or does anyone have an alternative they recommend?

It’s a nice case, and it can fit 3 dolls if you pack them carefully. I find it indispensable for transporting DD, because I’m not comfortable leaving them in the car. 

I own the Hatsune Miku DD-sized version and it's honestly such a great bag.  The strap is sturdy and adjustable and has a little shoulder pad so you can wear it however is most comfortable for you.  It's NOT removable, which I think is honestly the only 'complaint' I have about it, though it's still perfect even with that.  I personally love the loop/handle on the top because you can carry it vertically with one hand if you need to, and it's perfect for hanging it up for storage.

The inside is also 'Ivory' which is so good because it won't stain if you place your doll(s) in without a wrap, but also isn't Pure White™ so you don't have to worry about it staining, either.  Plus the interior pockets are perfect for bringing extra hands, clothes, care items, etc with you and not having to worry about them being all jumbling around with your doll and trying to find them when you're trying to take a quick photo somewhere.  There's enough room inside to either wrap your doll in a towel/doll wrap and/or to bring more than one doll with you at a time, so you don't need to buy multiple just because you have more than one doll.  On the big bag at least, there's also little straps inside to hold your doll in place, so you don't have to worry about her being jostled too much in there, either.

I think if you plan on traveling at all with your doll it's a 10/10 investment, because they are very well made and you know that they're specifically made for transporting your dolls safely.  A lot better and easier than trying to use some other bag and just 'make due*' in my opinion.  Trying to get a 1/3 or even 1/4 scale doll to fit into a 'just too small' bag without messing up your wig or outfit can be a headache.

*(so long as price isn't an issue, obviously!  if you're trying to save, then of course finding an alternative is better; it's all about what works best for your situation!)

I'd grab one of their wrapping blankets, and a dollfie face cover too. I usually put the face cover on the doll, then wrap her in the blanket with her covered head in the blanket's pocket. Then into the case she goes. Keeps them completely safe on long trips.

Just don't use tape with dye to secure the facemask to the doll, it's best to use their own brand of tape.

Probably overkill, but I want them to last a long time.

Let's leave it at I have 4 of the full sized bags and 1 of the MDD sized bags.  They are the only way I transport my girls.
