DDS III loose knee joint help

I've had my DDS III since last year and I've noticed her joints on her knees seems pretty loose.

I've been very nervous to take apart her knees since I have no idea if just taking them out would make it worse.

can someone send me a tutorial or give me some help on how to tighten the knees? (also I have no idea how to even take them apart to examine them or wouldn't even know what to look for with flaws or damage).

I believe there are some screws in the shin, but it’s been awhile since I took them apart. The part in the thigh is just peg and socket iirc. 

Pulling the shins out of the thigh is easy, but getting them back in is challenging because you have to do it blind by feel. 

Getting the frame out of the shin will take a hair dryer. If you’ve never used that trick to warm up the vinyl, I’d look up YouTube videos on disassembling a Dollfie Dream.
