Courtmom Posted July 15, 2021 First thing we did upon open was get some Sorbet snuggles!! Lots of stuff was in her box! Lets see just how complete these two sets are! Original set? Cha-ching! All here! Even the lollypops the person I got her from said was missing! The shoes are not my favorite, and the plastic has some obvious yellowing to them that the outfit doesn't. Hmm... Christmas set? CHA-CHING! All here! Even Sorbet's little hat! Although technically I only got one Sorbet, so I guess one of them is missing, but since they are identical, there is now way to know which one is. Further examination of the Christmas outfit shows some yellowing that makes me suspect the shoes that are open are originally from the Christmas set. I got to do her piercings! I do, however, see now why some people don't. It was hard! I don't love the body suit- first time I've ever had one, and I've had quite a few vinyl babies come through my home.- but since her OG outfit is mostly black...well I'll keep it on for now. Ignore the dust speck near her eye, I didn't see it till I uploaded the photo and I just wiped it off her face. Now she just needs a name! Any suggestions? foo Posted July 15, 2021 BTW, the black outfit doesn't stain, with two exceptions. The red ribbon near her face can stain, so make sure it doesn't touch her face! Also the black ribbon that ties together the front of the bodice can stain. You're best off replacing it with a nylon one of the same size. Haha, actually I perused Mandarake after purchasing her and found some stuff for her that way 😛 . I've been following the hobby since about 2008 or so, and I've owned quite a few vinyl dolls that have come in and out of my care. Unfortunately earlier this year I had to sell all of them for bills because I had two spine surgeries and I sold everything I had because the heartbreak was unbareable. I thought I would never own another vinyl doll ever. But then my hubby told me he felt sad about it and wanted me to buy myself one that I really really wanted. In all truth, I really really wanted the new Marisa Kirisame MDD. But I knew the likelihood of that was beyond slim. So I took to looking for Melty instead, one of my grails, and there she was in all her glory on eBay with both her standard and Christmas set, and cheaper than all the others on there!
