Sloane 2.0!

Not so much even 2.0, maybe more like 1.1? Maybe 1.2? Anyway, Sloane is my first and currently only Dolfie Dream (though not my only vinyl doll) and my first couple attempts at giving her a faceup were…. Not great to say the least. I’ve done faceups on resin dolls for years but I have yet to learn the ins and out of anime style faceups until now.

 

Sloane is on a DDH07 which I adore because of its kind of mature look, since I wanted Sloane to kind of have that “big sister” look to her. I did the first faceup, hated it, bought a DDH09, did a faceup on that, was moderately happy with it, then put her in a box in my parents’s house for 2 years 😭

Since I’m visiting back home I dug her out and finally gave the DDH07 the faceup it needed and I’m MUCH happier with how she looks now. I’m planning on an MDD in the future and I’m saving the DDH09 for potentially using that as the head. 
 

Pics are just smartphone quality but they at least convey a bit of her cuteness!

Ohh she's really well done!  I love her eyes and the wig.... they work really well with her face up!  Nice work!

Thank you!! I love red eyes in dolls and I also found that lower set eyebrows helped convey that mature look which I think just happened to fit well with the wig I already had for her!
