bunnyhop Posted August 28, 2021 I've been lurking and reading for quite a while and figure it's time to introduce myself finally. So, hi! I'm a woman currently living in the Midwest USA with my wife (neutral on dolls) and our pet house rabbit (neutral on anything not food or attention or cardboard) I've been a lifelong doll lover but in my adulthood have slowly sold off my American Girl, Barbie, and Blythe collections due to space and lessening enjoyment. I had seen Dollfie Dreams as a teenager and adored them but due to their cost I didn't imagine I'd ever have one. Well, now I do! I just received my Snow Miku Reboot in the mail and I'm absolutely in love. I also have an Iris Collect Rino (And a Girl For All Time doll and Usaggie and Living Dead Dolls for my full current doll collection) and I'd love another Dollfie Dream and another 50cm Azone doll in the future, as well as maybe a MDD because they're so stinkin cute. My other hobbies are reading, crafting, journaling, doodling, and playing games on my Nintendo Switch. muphryslaw Posted August 28, 2021 I’m also in the Midwest USA and I too collect 18” dolls as well (mostly American Girl, Our Generation, Gotz, and Maplea, not AGFAT). Are these your first BJDs or just vinyl BJDs? Either way, congratulations! muphryslaw Posted August 28, 2021 Neat! I own mostly adult SD dolls, both male and female and a lot of Chinese doll heads off Taobao (my favorite company for doll bodies is Doll Family H). I own both Saila and Alexi. They are quite beautiful dolls, but I don’t like the hands. I think the eyelash and wig quality is significantly better than American Girl, and I think the clothes are better as well.
