I'll have to wait outside when they say he's out for delivery, so I don't have to worry about missing him like my last package. Laylian Posted May 28, 2023 I noticed some people on a different site were getting duty/import tax notifications for the United States. Now I’m worried about mine, haha. But I thought for US residents when it’s a doll from Japan there weren’t any import fees..? They were all using DHL. Anyone have any experience to ease my anxious mind? If they order more that the doll and the price is to high and the box to heavy they might need to pay import Taxes. Sounds like something I'd fall for... 😓 Some scammers will send an email or text pretending to be DHL and say you have fees for a package that you need to pay, or need to confirm some information. They are fishing to get into your account information to drain your bank info. I’ve gotten a text like that before but knew I wasn’t expecting anything and blocked them. I have a text history with the real DHL so those messages would have shown up if they were the real company. With the emails just check that the email is the official email and not a fake account pretending to be them. (Assuming it isn't a scammer - I have no idea there.) I have no idea what's going on. Maybe the buyer is in a really remote area?
