Hello :)

I'm Cease, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a doll collector from Minnesota, but I only have resin BJDs right now. Well.. I do have a tiny obitsu body, but I don't even have a vinyl head for it.

I'm interested in vinyl dolls because I'm hoping to get a soft bodied doll to make corsets and outfits for. I'm not sure how well it'll work, but I'm sure I'll find out.

Thanks for reading!

Welcome, Cease!! I hope you can get your first girl soon! I'm also into sewing, and I love making clothes for my DD (I only have one hehe). I've never had a resin doll so I can't speak to how it would be to make clothes for them vs vinyl but I hope we can see some of your projects in the future :)

WELCOME!!! I wish you the best on your way getting your first vinyl girl! I'm also super into resin and porcelain bjds and dresses! (besides sewing i'm in love with lolita moda) But i'm just getting started in everything.

Welcome. Hope it works out with creating outfits. I am sure you will notice the difference between vinyl and resin. The place where the bust overlaps the torso is the hardest part of the body. But differs in place from brand to brand. (And vinyl dolls are imo easier to pose)
👍

Thank you!

And im wondering about the angelphilia dolls, since I hear they're very squishy?

Im hoping the , uhm, chest of a vinyl doll would be squishy enough to allow a corset to shape them, like their purpose for people. I guess if that doesn't work I can just figure something else out 🙂
