Sorry for the late reply. I have a Mayumi Soft skin in Tan. She came with a G bust but I pumped her up to an H3 lol. Unfortunately I can't share pics yet cause I'm new so don't have access to the gallery. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to work with the URL share but I don't know of a good site to do so and it will not accept the image links from my personal site. I may have to just post the text link.

Which brings me to two questions. Are text links allowed? And what is the stance on doll nudity since she is scantily dressed? I saw it said reveling clothing was allowed but what are the nuances and caveats to the rule. Just want to be sure of things cause her bits are pretty much always on display in some way as part of her character situation.

Welcome! In case you want to create your own photo thread, tag it as NSFW. Otherwise, make sure the thread you want to post a photo in also has this tag. - Then you'll likely be fine.

You can check out the Angel Philia thread and @Testament's photo thread among others, to see what's usually okay.

Otherwise, just look around on the site and leave a few comments here and there, and you'll quickly be at your required post count to upload photos to the site.

Mmmmmmm ok I see. Ok sounds good. Will do. I was at least able to get the image from URL thing to finally work. Thanks for the info!

The rule about doll nudity points back to an inappropriate content rule that says the following.
 

No adult or inappropriate content.
Content that deals with pornography, rape, pedophilia, extreme gore, glorification of torture and violence, self-mutilation, abuse, and suicide are not allowed and will be removed. This includes text, links, images etc.

IMO, reading the two rules together informs us what sort of nudity is disallowed. There is nudity of a non-comparative nature in the AP threads in particular and it never broke the rules.

That said, not everyone is comfortable with what they see in the various threads. I would say be careful of posting things that dehumanize the model, even though the model in question is a doll, even if it’s not specifically disallowed by the rules. 

Most of the stuff here is pretty innocent, and most of it depicts the dolls in a positive light.

Yea I saw that one too. I wasn't even worried about that cause I wasn't headed down that road so it was a non-issue. BUT my concern is more in the small nuances of what is considered inappropriate. From other types of art I do I've learned that even under following the big rules one still has to deal with goose and gander. I like what @Tierparkzone said and I'm gonna look around and observe the crowd to get a feel. I should be able to get a good sense and work from there. Thank you for the feed back all this totally helps.

So I just took a look at @Testament's photo thread and I'm like........ "oh ok." ......... "oOHhh okaayyy!"........ "OOOOOHHHHH! Yea I should be fine." LMAO. Good deal and thank you all for helping me figure out the flow. Still will look around too.

Hi Angered-Icon,

Mayumi is a great sculpt. I got my eyes set on a few AP sculpts that are really nice. And like the others mentioned, there is a lot possible within the rules about Doll Nudity here. 

An external upload site I use is nl.imgbb.com (before uploading check the rules if they allow the image or not, not every photo host site has the same rules).

A big pro is that you can set a preference how long you want your image available. 
 

Before you know it you will reach the posts needed to upload photo’s here on DollDreaming. 
 

Welcome, btw I use Google Photo for storing and sharing them, it's very good (even if I prefer the older version, Pikasa Web Album, now discontinued...).

@Testament Ah yes, I remember picasa. I didn't think about Google photo I will try that next time.

@Rajke yea that's the issue with 3rd party sites you never know what is under what definition. The more control I have over storing images the better.
