Hello everyone!

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am new to the vinyl doll hobby and BJDs in general. When I was younger I had Barbies and Monster High dolls, but that was the closest I ever came to something like a BJD. I also use to collect and paint model horses when I was younger. I had some artist resins as well.

I've been researching and binge watching Youtube channels for months now while saving up for my first doll. I was infatuated with Smart Dolls for a while, you may have even seen me asking a few questions on the forums. But ultimately I decided to delve into Dollfie Dreams due to the collaboration doll line and the readily available customization options. I finally ordered my first Dollfie and it is on the way. I also was able to commission a head by ShiNes Workshop and I am so incredible excited to be a part of this hobby!

I had some Action Men when I was a kid and now I'm wondering if my Dollfie would have fitted in the tank I had for them lol.

One of my Action Men had a magic eye and you could look through a hole in his head. But I secretly coveted my sister's Bionic Woman because you could roll her arm skin up and see a control panel or something.

I bought my first Dollfie last year... I was going to get a Smart Doll but I wanted a Miku so I found out about Dollfies. Ironically I didn't end up with a Miku because I thought the DDdy body looked better (but my girl does now have Miku hair).

I prefer the DDdy body too! I like the way the torso looks better than the standard DD body. Your Towa is adorable

Towa can look sweet and innocent, or determined and self confident, depending on how you tilt her head. She’s a great doll if you are looking to get a DDDy. I have mine in a blue Volks ponytail wig at the moment, and it really suits her. 

I think she could do sassy too with the right pose.
