Is the closed mouth photoshopped, or do you have multiple heads?

Love the shoot; the silk flowers and backdrop makes it look very decadent. The maroon in her dress looks so striking against all those brighter pinks and reds.

Your setting and editing is always top notch.

Hahaha yeah you won't dare to eat anything from Shiki. 😆

The mouth is photoshopped, I only have 1 type of head sculpt for each of my doll, hardly keep more than 1 of the same sculpt.

Thank you! Yes I try to match brighter pink and red so her outfit can stand out from the bg.
At first I shoot with a black backdrop can't see all the details so I changed.

Thank you! Here's a behind the scene of my setup, actually quite hilarious as I'm trying to Tetris whatever i can find at home for the chandelier. 🤣

I’ve always thought a benefit of the standard heads was being able to have multiple expressions for a doll by swapping heads. I mean, if I do a Rika Jougasaki DDP, then I might want to have a closed mouth head and an open mouthed head. You could also have happy or sad or angry face-ups. This is a lot harder if you have to use an expensive limited head.

Your set up is so nice and pretty! It really gives the valentine feel with the red and roses. The wig and outfit color also matches so well. Absolutely love it 😍

I think swapping head really depends on the pose and setup when you are taking photos.
For my case usually I go for intense setup and posing, will be much hard for me to swap the head just for an alternate expression, so photoshop will be much easier for me.
Yeah limited head are hard in this case. 

My Rika DDP also in preparation! I'm not happy with my Rika face up, will need to send her for a new face up before I can debut her.

Yea, I can totally get that. I often pose the doll without a stand, so making small changes in a pose can be frustrating when the balance changes. I’ve ordered some Asachanchi stands, so hopefully that will make things easier. 

I was thinking more along the lines of photo sets with different moods, like Mika looking sadly out the window on a rainy day, or Mika looking happy during a sexy photo shoot.
