When it did the small pop up I expanded that window and kept an eye on the browser’s loading status in the lower left (I’m on pc Firefox if that matters) - at the time it was still loading just taking a while 

Ok managed to get Anthy somehow. I think that's my first success for a doll in a clickwar. Wonder if they will be popular enough to sell out in the next few minutes?

Agreed persistence is key-- and make SURE you're selecting a payment type of "credit card" in addition TO your credit card if you're paying that way--I was stupid and probably could've gotten through sooner but I completely missed that set of radio buttons. 

I missed it too at first so I entered my card like 30 times >o< but ended up getting one on my laptop and one on my desktop so got both \o/  Luckily my card verification is very fast so didn't have to wait for that like the best buy ones back during the graphics card craze.

Hehehehe - I used my husband too to nab Anthy. Maybe it wasn’t necessary and might have been cheaper shipping wise but I really didn’t want to chance it trying to get both just by myself. I hope everyone gets the gals they wanted and all that traffic is for those SD releases 🥰

Congrats to everyone! I'm sitting out this one since I haven't seen Utena and want the dolls to go to fans >_> it looks like they're not even marked as low stock yet? 

Maybe Volks has a lot prepared.

I did the same... but I went a step further... I got Anthy while my husband got Utena. Once my Anthy purchase was complete I went back and grabbed a few outfits. ^^; I was too worried I'd lose Anthy from my cart to try for it all. I guess DHL will enjoy my money.

Got both! I thought I wasn't going to be able to afford both but they are about $300 CAD cheaper than I thought with shipping and estimated customs, so I went for it! Glad to see there is ample stock!

EDIT: And I think Utena is sold out!?

As of now it looks like Utena is sold out, but Anthy is still in stock... I wonder how long Anthy will last.

Edit: I feel lucky, 'cos this was my only chance. No USA lottery for me! XD muggins here stuck in Europe haha. I got body stockings too out of paranoia, because that's a lot of red and black fabric! If there's anything else I should have gotten, do let me know. This is my first DD and I'm hype!

I recommend a stand, and a head cap to protect her head from wig stains.

Hands down the most problematic event in several years. It took about 18 tries to get through the cart.

One thing I will say is I think their checkout process has too many pages. Not only is that increasing load, but if you fail at any step up to paypal, you have to go back to the cart and start over. They should probably think of streamlining the process.

Got Utena and clothing goodies. Looks like stock was decent.

I'll go for Himemiya through Volks USA, and worst case there is Yahoo Japan. I like her a lot, so she's coming home for sure. I just hope they release Tawny busts / hands in the future.

Though I’m guessing they will restock some at a later point bc otherwise it would say Sold Out vs waiting for restock

I’m so sorry for spamming this post but I just realized it says my zip code is 0000000 Japan but with my normal USA Street address, is there a way to fix this or will it still ship to me? I’ve never gotten anything from the Volks store in Japan before 

I managed to order Anthy, waiting for Utena to come back in stock now—she went out of stock as I was completing the order

 

Also, I seem to have an extra charge, maybe from one of my failed check out attempts. Hoping the charge will drop off soon, but it is making me nervous. 

Edit: The extra charge dropped off about 40 minutes later, whew.

I would email their support today. They should be able to fix your Zip on the order. Just be as polite as you can in your text and explain what you need.

I snagged them both!!! Ugh I'm so relieved; Revolutionary Girl Utena is one of my favorite animes.

I wonder if they are not popular or if Volks made more of them this time... seems like it is taking longer for them to sell out.

I was literally on the LAST step for paypal and as I pressed the button I got sent back to my cart
tried to check out, couldn't figure out why, then I saw in red letters Utena was sold out..

Congratulations for everyone getting Anthy and / or Utena! I also managed to get what I wanted, Starry Sky Basics set. 🤣 This was one of the worst click wars I have ever seen, probably because Volks stuffed both dolls and outfits out in the same time. 🙄

Both Utena and Himemiya are now officially sold out.

Ugh, it's disappointing isn't it? Maybe more will come in stock soon, I think that happened with Fumika.

Oh no—- are you stateside so you can try for the lottery?? I’d also try to keep an eye out and set up a separate update notification/alert (I’ve used ChangeTower with other sites to some success) for the intl page as they look like they might stock more (though that could be 1, 10, who knows).

I just had to cancel my Anthy order for personal reason. So please go take her if you could not!
