This makes sense, thank you! I don't typically use bodysuits on my dolls so I was SUPER out of the loop on like, what causes special ones to get made in the first place since I don't pay attention to them lol... though I might reconsider my bodysuit apathy for these two girls. 

In theory, would a protective plastic sock between her actual sock and feet (made out of like sandwich bag)
protect Utena's legs/feet? Like is there any problem like with PVC where vynil needs to breathe or otherwise it gets

In the case of characters like Miku it may be because they have a lot of appeal to people who don't collect DDs, and don't know how to care for them.

You can put white socks under dark socks. I do that all the time in order to protect them.

I don’t really think it’s that, for Miku and Rin it was specifically because a regular body stocking would cover up the tattoo on their shoulder and thus they needed ones with the tattoos on. (it’s included with the dolls as a water-slide (I think?) decal you’re meant to stick onto the actual doll, although I never bothered with that myself). I don’t know if any other body stockings have actually been made as separate products intended for specific dolls though. (I don’t think 2B’s with the cutout on the bust counts as it actually comes with her.)

The After Event is being delayed a month and will now be on the 29th of May．Good news for those who want more time to save for these girls, bad news for those dying to know the order method already.

edit: seems Dolpa is also affected, and people attending won’t actually be able to take the dolls home from the event, but will receive them later. There’s also a lot of clothing from the Dolpa collection that won’t be available which makes me wonder if it’s a supply chain issue.

The delay is an upside, especially with SD pre-orders looming. Hopefully everything is ok over there.

They’re actually offering refunds because of it - a bad situation all around.

I’d definitely put my money on something in the supply chain related to clothing with all the canceled outfit sales.  

I also wouldn't be surprised if it's due to the lockdowns in some parts of China causing supply issues for them.

It certainly sucks that the AE is delayed, but a blessing in disguise for anyone trying to save up for dolls.  Now we just suffer even longer waiting to see the method of sale, though I'm very glad to see that VOLKS USA is still listed as one of the sales locations.  That's promising for us.

The delay works really well in my favor, as the day of online sales was going to be a workday that I couldn't get out of and I was really sweating bullets over that. It's also good in that I have a little more time to gather cash (gotta crank out those commissions!).

I just got in my copy of News 95 and they are so pretty~ I kind of want to rip those pages out and display them. ^^;;

Yeah, the delay may make Anthy possible.

It's usually sometime around 10 AM to noon Japan Time. They should announce the time well ahead of the release.

Will the release/sale time for them be different in Japan and the US? If I can't get a single one of them on clickwar

I think this means pre-order, but only a limited number of slots. If they run out before the end-date, then they close the pre-order. 

We need to see the official event pages before knowing for sure, but it seems like we're getting lucky and it's pre-order.
