finnleo Posted March 13, 2022 So as the title sayes, I decided to do some pose practice after a hiatus of sorts because of reasons. The topic at hand is the Obitsu "cheat plate" wich is the steel plate that comes with obitsu bodies to be used with the magnetic feet, so finally after a few years of ownership it was time to see whats what when using it... technically I should have used my Enma Ai head for this, But decided to swap QP on just out of curiosity how well the Obitsu whitey matches to the aged parabox ... which wasnt perfect to say the least... anyways, here's the results of the session, and as it was a practice session you will have to forgive the odd prop, wig or lightsource in frame in some of them: No outside support apart from using the cheat plate, the body is a stock out of the box Obitsu 50 (or 48?) from an Enma Ai mk2 release. qp012 qp013 qp014 qp015 qp016 qp017 qp018 qp019 qp020 qp021 All in all I was quite impressed with the perfomance of the body, although not surprised... Obviously the one legged poses arent stable enough for display pourposes, and the magnets dont work as well with shoes. the socks are twisted at the ankles because I needed to have the seam at the side of the foot to have the most stable contact with the plate ... anyhoo... On an unrelated note, im obsessed with the kimono she's wearing. The brocade, the lace, the ruffles, and that delightful pink obi- she looks so sweet and angelic! But I do admit it was amusing to get near instant one legged stands out of the body (the obitsu double axis knea helps to get moar balance too). 20 hours ago, StormyWeather said: im obsessed with the kimono she's wearing. mmm, the Volks full choise "pick up" series stuff is quite splendid, especially the kimono's they made - although I suppose they would be, considering they are exclusive for a custom order item delivery. Nut I need to admit the brocade on the white kimonos has been a bit of a thing to photograph to get it to pop nicely without getting fully white-outed.
