As for a run-down on what Niconico medleys are: Niconico medleys are a phenomenon on the video-sharing site Niconico Douga, that involves bedroom producers (mostly in Japan) making mixes of songs that are popular and/or songs they like using DTM (desktop music) software. And guess what? I am one of said bedroom producers! I actually have been creating Niconico medleys since October 2020 and continue to do so.
