Till Troll Posted February 11, 2012 I am making a sofa to go in the IKEA bookcase I got for Christmas (thanks again for the recommendation!). I've made a blog post about how I've made the frame out of the packing materials for the bookcase and it's doors, and the seats out of furniture foam. I am going to make a later post on how I did the covering I am sewing. my blog post --> http://tilltroll.robmeerman.co.uk/?p=325 It may seem small, but I based it's scale on a UK corner sofa my friend has: we have small living rooms in this country, so everything can be cosy >.< Can I ask for feedback on the blog post as well? Is the use of the gallery okay, or should I put full size images directly in the text? Should I be uploading larger images? I use this blog to organise my head and primarily show my mum/in laws what I do as my hobby, so it's rather unpolished I am afraid.
Traveller Posted February 11, 2012 Now this is something that I've been thinking of doing myself for the "Center Point" coffee lounge, as Baldylox has been kind enough to make a slight shorter and narrower table of his. I'll take a look at the blog to see what you did.
milkytea Posted February 12, 2012 I think it looks really nice! I didn't realize when I looked at the pictures before reading the text that it was made of Styrofoam and duct tape! n_n
baldylox Posted February 12, 2012 Very cool! I like this style couch too, it's very different from what you normally see for DD's. Please keep us informed on how it goes as I find this interesting. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
