Penny's Box Antu Nature's Secret blind box series

Has anyone else ordered one of these? They're $20 each, or $120 for all six (plus shipping, which I haven't paid yet) at My Dollection.

I figured for $20, even if I hate it - it's a full-set doll for $20. 

More pictures from the My Dollection website - and they are tiny: 13 cm. I think they're resin? Website says vinyl (Abs + PVC).

Oh, wow. They're kinda cute! Wonder what other vendors outfits might fit them? 

As a plus, at that price, it's not a major loss if you don't like them, but, they are kinda cute! 

Is there a possibility they might make more faceplates for different expressions, like Figmas or Nendos? That would be awesome! 

 

Just so you know, since you mentioned shipping, My Dollection is based in Malaysia, so shipping from her can be kind of high.

I purchased one of the FJX (DividingLine) Blindbox BJDs through a friend using My Dollection, and the entire transaction was a nightmare.  It was partially due to lockdowns where the artist was based and issues getting the orders shipped to My Dollection, but she also did a terrible job of handling all of the orders and communicating through the entire thing.  We ordered in September of 2021 and only just this week did we finally receive all of the parts we ordered, and some of them weren't even exactly as ordered, as she offered eyes with different finishes but just kind of randomly threw in eyes with orders because she 'lost the forms' everyone submitted.

Her methods may have changed since this blindbox sale so ymmv, but I personally won't be buying through her again.

You can also find these girls at Jane's Dolland. She's a US dealer and has a lot of them in stock, as well as the option hands and some extra headbacks if you want to use a wig with them. They fit 11cm clothing and shoes very well!

They seem to have released a new series called The School Hunting series!

If they didn't have four ears I'd be in trouble.  But I dislike that feature enough to be able to do without the cute little dolls.

I have 2 of them and they are very cute, made of hard plastic and rubberd bands like bjd dolls. The head its like the nendoroids but not the same so you can´t use the hair pieces of nendoroid. You can buy a special head piece for use wigs.

Whoa wait they’re strung inside?! That’s so intricate!

I just got one of their Adou dolls, which are Mechanically jointed instead. They're super cute(unfortunately my luck wasn't the best. The OC I'm shelling with it is pale blue and I got the tan boy) he's still super cute and well made. I'm leaving him as is for now in hopes of of trade eventually, but he's calling to me lol

I love the Adou dolls! I have two of my own.

The hair pieces on these dolls can be swapped between series - my girl on the right uses an Antu's hair.

The heads also seem compatible with Nendoroid stuff - the guy on the left is using a Picco Neemo body that I modded to put a Nendoroid head on, and his neck piece fit in the modded body just fine. (His original knee joint broke from trying to get his shoes on. 😅)

@Oculae they're so cute! Could you show me the mod? I have a few extra bodies that I could put this head on that would work for this OC, then I'd only have to paint the face plate!

 

Nevermind! The neck attachment came off easy and I was able to mod it onto the neck peice of a Yomane body I had. Thank-you so much for the idea Oculae!

found a solution!

Progress being made on my boy. And I'm expecting a centaur, one of the school series, and one of the simon fruit girls now. They're addictive(although most of them are belated Christmas gifts)

...There's a centaur series?

@Tam_I_am the centaurs are called dream like tea party. I took the image from Janes doll land.

We're both impatient for him to be done, lol. I'm hoping to have his face up done today, but his eyes won't be arriving till early March and I'm not sure when the wig adaptor head piece will be in.

*headdesk*  Why centaur babies have to happen when I don't have dolly money?

Lol. I was debating making him a little hat.

Another wip. I'm very much out of pratice and the base layer is a hot mess, but for all the problems I don't think they face up is too bad

had to fix an autocorrect

I have a problem lol. I picked up one of the Haunting series from Penny box and was thrilled to get the rabbit!

I'm really impressed with the quality for $25. She's kicky and top heavy, but considering the price I don't think those are deal breakers.

I've decided on Usako for her name and gave her a slight make over. I usually customize my dolls a lot more, but I loved her so much I only made a few changes.

Found some cute props when I visited the city recently!
