My Growing Azone Collection (Pureneemo, Picconeemo)

New Pureneemo time. Actually there's also Chisato from Lycoris Recoil. Sadly her head isn't amazing, and she doesn't even have the right hair colour!

But Azone are forgiven because Haruka Amami from Idolmaster is stunning. Her outfit is super detailed, and she has proper doll eyes. Her bodytype is really great and the new knee joints are really nice.

This is a really great start to a new line of Azone character dolls. I almost bought DD Haruka a few years ago so I was really pleased to see her make it into Azone form.

Here's DD Uzuki Shimamura with Haruka. I forgot to take a photo of Haruka's boots. They're exquisitely detailed.

She’s on the Emotion body. I think Azone only started releasing dolls on this body relatively recently.

Here's Azone Pureneemos Takina Inoue and Chisato Nishikigi from Lycoris Recoil (plus their DD handlers).

I have mixed feelings about this pair. I wanted them so badly, but I feel a bit let down. Their uniforms are great but I wish they had proper eyes like Haruka in the photo above.

I wished they'd have put more work into Chisato's head. She doesn't even have the right hair colour. It should be more like Len's hair.

Another missed opportunity is that Takina could have come wearing boy pantsu. That would have been a good in-joke from the anime.

They come with guns btw and luckily Buyee didn't notice or maybe they wouldn't have shipped them (Takina came from Mandarake though).

I'm now going to pray for Lycoris Recoil season 2 and for their Azones to be rebooted.

What bothers me with Pure Neemos hair styles is that they often are all kind of the same.

As i mentioned in another topic, Buyee has no problems with most toys that include guns. It probably depends on whether the main item is a prohibited item or not. This does however result in some curious judgements with regards to weapons (e.g. 1/3 gun = banned, giant transforming lion with huge gun that could pass for 1/1 weapon = allowed), and they also seem to prohibit certain auctions purely on keywords in the auction title (and appealing that usually results in the auction remaining banned because looking at the pictures is too complex or something...🙄).

Mandarake at least has employees with a brain, who understand that shipping a scale weapon to a place that only bans 1/1 replicas is OK.

Some new Azone Pureneemo character model arrivals. First up is Kirino Kousaka (高坂 桐乃). She's from Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai / My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute.

She's a typical tsundere character and has a different expression to all my other Azones. I think she looks quite a bit like DD Aoi.

Originally released in 2014, she's in fabulous condition. I paid an OK price for her. There was a modest bidding war but we prevailed. I think she's character model #30 so that's a lot of releases ago (they're up to ~150 now).

I went out of my mind looking for her hair pieces because they weren't taped to the inner box. I took out the orange photo background and realised there was the doll care guide hidden behind it. The hair pieces weren't there either. By studying the doll care guide I realise you're supposed to cut out strips of the pink rectangle printed on the guide then use these as the hair pieces.

Meh. I think I'll attempt to 3D print some for her. Maybe she'll cheer up then.

 

Two more arrivals. It's Menma and Anjou (Anjo) Neruko.

I thought Menma was a mythical grail but now I have 1 2 3 Menmas.

It's possible Anjou is the actual Anohana grail. One appeared on Mandarake last year but was sold in a couple of hours and I didn't read the email alert in time.

This pair are unboxed but Menma came with her towel. The listing implied that Menma was stained but whoever listed her was probably unaware she does indeed have 3 sets of eyebrows - the middle ones aren't stains. Menma's feet are a little grubby but that's what you get when you leave your shoes in the river 😭.

I didn't pay much for this pair and nobody else bid on them.

Hate to break it to you, but there were multiple releases of this character, including one with an open mouth smiling face and one with black hair(!)

I've found them all listed here.

Pretty sure I have 031 regular version. In that case she's from 2011 and is in really great condition for a Pureneemo from that year.

The ones I don't have are on YJA for crazy prices 🥵.

That's not quite true as there are approximately 7 more who haven't been unboxed yet including 3x Aika and 1x Mash. There are also 3x Picco Neemos.

This lot are terribly disorganised and there are a few hidden ones but they don't all stand up properly!

Now going to have a lie down after exhausting my 🧠 thinking of all their names.

I believe Erica is the oldest. Haruka's my favourite with chocomint Lycee maybe second. Emilia is very special as she arrived the day I got very sick and accompanied me to the hospital.

Of all the anime characters, the Touhou pair are exceptionally awesome. They're much better than the Lycoris Recoil pair.

I nearly went out of my mind looking for her glasses. I thought they were missing but it turned out they're flatpacked and I don't know if we can really be bothered to make them.

Behind MASH is Yamada Aoi from Working!!`.

If anyone is curious about the Pureneemo sized chair it's actually from RelaxTime Rem's figure. The figure is pretty cheap so it might be an economical way to acquire some nice Pureneemo sized chairs. On the downside the figure is quite big so postage from Japan is quite expensive.

The first new Pureneemo for a while. No. 160 Hitori Gotoh, a.k.a Bocchi the Rock.

The hairpieces were a hassle to thread but I think they look really good.

I do have a guitar for her - it's from one of the K-On Yui figures I picked up a while ago.

Her "mom" is DD Kizuna AI with the dollremi Bocchi outfit and an OEM Sakura Miku wig.
