Need help picking a head

So I’m going to start working on my first custom MDD and the character I’m making is Riddle Rosenhearts from Twisted Wonderland.

He’s going on a MDD body semi-white but just now when I went to purchase a head…. the one I want a DDH-25 (I think it might be a dream choice only head) was not available.

I’m having a really hard time picking a different head. I would add an image but can’t for some odd reason 🤔

Are you sure 25 is the head you wanted…? I’m asking because it’s a very mature head typically used for full size DD boys - this is my subjective opinion, but I can’t help but think it’s going to look somewhat off on the child-like/‘chibi’ MDD body. I also think it will look a bit bobble-headed.

If you’re making him an MDD I assume he’s going to be kinda ‘chibified’ anyway, so for standardly available MDD heads with the right ‘sharp’ eye shape for him how about 27? There are also two new standard heads - 28 and 29, going on sale on the 8th of October (29 is more of a sleepy/bored looking head though)

OH?!! I didn’t even realize or think of that 😅 I thought all the heads looked the same on the bodies but that makes total since that it would look odd. The 27 looks like it will work great! Now just gotta find it in semi white!! The 29 I think I’m going to use for my Epel from twisted wonderland custom so definitely going to try and grab that one! Thanks so much for the insight glad I posted this before I tried to purchase the wrong head.

For MDD I think DDH 20 would also work. I also see some potential in DDH21 but I think it needs a modification before it comes close to the character you want.

Haha, I’m glad you posted before, that would’ve been super disappointing! The different letters can get confusing, and I even see DDP bodies that look almost like DD to my new-ness!
