I think that's one of my personal favorite aspects of the hobby - the fact that there is all these other things to explore around it like sewing, making miniatures, etc.! Sounds like you already own a doll, feel free to introduce her to us! We have sub-forums for off-topic dolls as well, so don't worry, we will also appreciate resin here. I only browsed DoA on occasion, so I don't really know what it's like over there. Although I heard it can be a little hit-or-miss. In any case! Don't worry about that here. I have always dodged the Zoom-meetings, but most folks around here are very kind and helpful! At the end of the day, we all just wanna talk about pretty dolls. Lots of people around here have both resin and vinyl dolls too! My personal dolly situation is currently a little complicated - I own one Dollfie Dream, but she's not with me right now - but I've been keeping my eyes on SmartDoll for a while now. Part of me hopes that they release one that really ticks all my boxes, another part prays for the safety of my wallet. I guess that's just how it is in this hobby.. Xiongmao Posted October 17, 2022 Welcome! I originally wanted a Smart Doll but ended up getting a Dollfie, mostly because Miku Hatsune is a Dollfie character. Now I have 5 Dollfies and probably won't ever get a Smart Doll. I like that Dollfie bodyparts are interchangeable should you need to change something. Also the dolls themselves are absolutely amazing in real life. I also collect Azone Pureneemos. They pose really well and they have a great range of characters. My Dollfie doll family 😊. Yeah I really like that you guys are all so open minded with all kinds of dolls! I really loved the Miku when she came out! But I would like to say that I prefer bodys which have the joint right below the breast. I've seen so many cute faces on Dollfie tho, but my heart pounds for Smartdoll when I discovered them.
