Imomodoll 1/4 Vinyl Dolls??

I neglected to share my experience with the 1/6 chocolate Guru that I have. For the price, I really can't complain. It still feels absolutely solid, at least for me.

Gave him a faceup and made his eyes. I named by kiddo "Bud" (from Legend of Mana)!

yeah that is why they suggest first to send a qoute and then they tell u if the item is really in stock. I use them all the time and I really like them

My current Imomo project!! putting puyoo bear legs onto my white Ruby body. The color match is 👌. I am altering the pieces and the frame so I don’t have to string it and it’s going pretty well!!

Such a cute combo! What a great mod too. Those legs are adorable

 

So I got a reply back from the Ali shop, and they sent pics of the dolls, boxes, and headcap stamps to prove they are legit.

Not saying anyone has to purchase through them of course, but just wanted to provide an update. ^_^  I can insert pics here if anyone needs them.

I have experienced with Dolk in the past where they haven’t taken listings down. So I’d exercise caution 

The dolk listing is also presale, not in stock, so you'd have to wait for a new batch to be made anyways.

I'm pretty sure the Nun Twins are supposed to release soon and they're on the Miko body, so it might be a better idea to just wait for their release.

Since the markup from dealers is so high, for future Imomodoll preorders I definitely would like to purchase from the official taobao (I definitely want the 1/3 girl body). However, I have issues navigating the website since I’m not from China. I am also confused as how to use bhiner. Would anyone have some advice on purchasing?

I also second superbuy, they've been pretty good for me so far and they provide pictures of your items upon arrival to their warehouse. I currently have a bunch of stuff from Imomo on order with them rn and probably more to come as they start releasing the boys. 

I used both bjdbhiner and superbuy for me I prefered bjdbhiner - the shipping was cheaper for me (im from the middle east) but they both provide pictures and the customer service are good in both. Probably it depends on your needs and location 😌

Personally I use Pandabuy as a proxy, they do pretty solid work, albeit sometimes a bit slow when it comes to purchasing.

 

I am currently also waiting for two of the Ruby bodies to arrive at my warehouse, together with the A and the B version heads. Them being marketed pretty much as angel bodies moreso than strictly girl bodies made me wanting to build my boys out of them.

I'm also eagerly waiting for the proper 1/4 boys and especially the 1/3 boys, I already got both of the Canis heads ordered to play around with.

We do need a lot more vinyl boys!

JanesDollLand is taking deposits for the 1/3 boys. Her markup in general is really high though so it most likely will be worth waiting for the official preorder in July if anyone wants one.

I’m probably not getting one, I didn’t really liked either of the Canis heads that were released but I would’ve considered getting him if Imomodoll sold the head with the open smile that was in the 3D picture shared a while ago.

Iirc there was like a tongue out one and a closed mouth, but I don’t remeber seeing the open smile one. Rip to me if I missed it though 🥲

Its ok though in that case, I don’t really know if I could handle having to get another wardrobe that won’t fit my other dolls lol 😭

And I didn't know the preorders for the 1/3 boy bodies already starts that soon, that's nice!

Oh, that's even better, more variety! The reseller listing I ordered mine from only had pictures that made it look like it's implemented in the sculpt.

Oh shoot. I double checked. I swear some where I saw that it does but now I can’t find it!

The 75 boy was promo imaged on Weibo! Looks like his body is coming soon!

I had a bunch of promo credits and coupons, so I went ahead and ordered from the Hi-Me Aliexpress shopfront. I ordered 2 tan girls on the smaller chested body, Miko and Ruby. One is a gift for a friend.  After my credits, I paid about $130 for both of them and a wig and a dress from the same shop.
I'll let yall know how it goes! The listing said that it was a Pre-order, but I could expect them before the end of July. 😄 I'm excited, I guess. lol
