How Are Dream Choice Eyes Glued In?

So I did a little skull lifting today to check on the 🧠 of all my girls. I noticed my Dream Choice MDD girl's 👀 are held in place by blu-tac. Is this a Volks thing or do they use glue or something else on Dream Choice dolls?

I'm actually not too bothered because I do really want at least one doll whose eyes I can replace. I might turn her into a MDD Empty Sekai, since I need somebody to wear the non-matching eyes. Another project is to make a cyborg doll with an eye cam.

I recently got my first Dream Choice order in, and surprisingly her eyes were held by this Dream Fitter thingy!

Seconding this, all Dream Choice dolls have the Dream Fitter (although it's actually a slightly different colour than the one you can buy online!) 

They are NOT glued in. As far as I know, DC dolls are the only ones who don't have eyes glued in- likely due to the fact they're meant to be put together and taken home within the same day. 

Interesting. Maybe I'll get a Dream Fitter when I next do an order of accessories.

Anyway, I did a bit of experimentation on poor Misaki this morning. I found out her default eyes were like flat pebbles, unlike regular Dollfie eyes. I don't know where they came from but the purple is really nice.

Actually this eye surgery is for a crazy project I have under development.

As for Misaki, I think she's picked up a touch of emptiness. Maybe it's because I closed the kitchen door so she and Towa can't sneak into the kitchen in search of snacks.

They're so so. They don't secure the eyes well so they tend to shift over time, and eventually the perforations on the back sink into the foam which makes adjusting the eyes impossible. You're better off spending the money on eye putty.
