FitzofInspiration Posted November 8, 2022 I recently won a DDH-01 head on yahoo!JP auctions through Buyee, and she arrived today! She's exactly as advertised, super cute, and I'm really shocked I was the only one who bid on the auction at all! I almost feel kinda guilty about getting her for the base price- the artist clearly worked really hard on her 😟 But I suppose that's sort of how it is with auctions, it's hard to tell how they'll go! Once again I don't know how to make the images smaller, so I'll hide my unboxing under a spoiler. Spoiler Even the packaging is just adorable! I don't have a body for her just yet, but it's on the way currently! I got a dollbot body for her, and according to tracking it'll be a week or so before it gets here, so not too long now ^^ I'm still not 100% set on a name, but I'm thinking maybe Lucy (a nod to Lucifer) or Salem, as she'll be a little demon to contrast my angel gal. I'm sure the artist is very happy that she found a loving home. From what I've seen, the more popular artist heads on YJA can sell for ridiculous amounts of money, so maybe this one came from someone who isn't as well known in the scene yet! Who knows, maybe they'll make it big one day and you can lean back in your chair, knowing you supported them at the very beginning of their journey. I can't wait to see how you style her though! She'd definitely make one adorable little devil. As for name suggestions, how about 'Lilith'? I quote Wikipedia: "[..] a female figure in Mesopotamian and Judaic mythology, alternatively the first wife of Adam and supposedly the primordial she-demon.", but 'Lucy' and 'Salem' are both really cute and fitting already! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Right? The packaging was really so cute! It does seem like the artist is pretty new to customizing, compared to others, so I hope with time they'll become more popular! They can give so much expression and personality to a sculpt! 😊 I was considering modding my incoming blank DDH-10 head to have one, but I think I'll leave hers closed. The artist is super skilled at those ^^ They had another head with a super cute mouth up recently (a DDH-27, I think). Also because I realize hadn't shared their name yet, the artist is @ huyu32222726 on twitter, they're definitely worth checking out!
