AZONE Head on a DDP?

A while ago I got an AZONE Luluna.

Sadly her internal frame is just disintegrating.  I wasn't having any luck finding replacement parts, but I had noticed a while ago she was about the same size of a DDP.  So I took both apart to look at maybe doing some kind of hybrid.

As you can see they are too different.  I was worried maybe the heads wouldn't line up, but assembled dolls put the heads about the correct spot.

So my question is has anyone ever put an AZONE (Obitsu) head onto a DD body?  Luluna's head is rooted, so I can't open her head to go with the bottle cap method I've heard of.  I rather avoid designing and then paying for a custom aluminum adaptor, so I'm looking for other ideas, or maybe someone has already made such a thing.

 

P.S. The Obitsu bust fits perfectly on the DDP frame, way better then a MDD bust.

What internal parts are you having trouble sourcing? Aside from the ankle parts that have been out of stock for a while, every O50 internal part is pretty easy to find on sites like 1999/HobbySearch, and I've done Amazon JP a couple times when something's gone out of stock.

 

The parts that are broken are where the arm go in and where the legs go in.

The timing is really bad luck in that both are out of stock, but these 2 parts restock fairly regularly. Check back every week or set up a notification. If you search on the item codes on a proxy site like ZenMarket, you can find ways to get it quicker if you want it now.
