Follow me eyes size for MDD

Does anyone currently use them and if so what size are the cabochons?

I asked someone if they made follow me eyes for MDD and was told that they do not work well with MDD sculpts…. but could have sworn I’ve seen people with them…. 
 

Will probably end up making mine, myself but just wanna know what size to get. 
 

I dont have expirence with these type of eyes at 1/3rd scale but i have made them for 1/6th scale dolls and i can say that the cabochons will have to be smaller than the normal eye size used for the head you have because cabochons are much flatter than normal doll eyes so the widest part of the eye will sit alot closer to the vinyl making it difficult or impossible to properly set the eyes in place. you will probably want to get cabochons that are 2-3 milimeters bigger than the largest part of the eye hole. if the head has sockets to hold the eye in place then you will need to buy cabochons the same size as the largest part of the eye hole.

also when making them you will need cardstock paper to put on the back of the printed eye. if you don't do that light will shine through the eyes and make it hard to see them on camara.
