Sword holding vs Gripping DD Hands?

It's a bit hard to tell from the website, but I was wondering what the differences between the sword-holding and gripping hands are. (Photos from different angles would be appreciated)

I don’t have these hands to show you, but I’ve seen them in person and the Japanese name makes it obvious—the gripping hands can hold smaller, finer objects. The distance between the thumb and the other fingers is smaller so the gripping hands can’t hold things that are thicker/have a larger circumference, like a sword.

I agree, I purchased the sword hands much later for my Saber Alter and she has been able to hold her sword much better than the gripping hands.
