pharaviel Posted August 6, 2014 I'll have a "spare" DDS body because I'm "upgrading" Alba to a DDdy (does such things exist? a spare doll body? or just a new doll in progress? ) and thinking about a male doll. Things I've thought are: DDH-07. Barring limiteds, I think it's the most obvious way for a male. Big head, small eyes. Wig? I think it's pretty common to have a male with a short, mohair wig. Another option would be a loose ponytail maybe? (that's how I keep mine) Dress? White shirt it's already a standard for my female dolls... maybe that plus a pair of jeans, and a leather jacket. Other than that, I think I'll put many parts (anti-stain, t-shirt, shirt, leather jacket) to smooth the roundness of the body. Maybe a little cardboard or tissue to give volume to the shoulders and the pelvis? Shoes: I already found out that most 1/4 male shoes fits DD so problem solved! Body: my spare body is a DDS body (that's good, it should have less bosom than DD) and I'll try to grab a Miku SS bust for him. Less boobs possible for the guy! Hands: I'll get the bigger type hands. DD feet are 6,5 cm long These ones http://www.ebay.it/itm/360958225681?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 works on a DD2 They fit tight as the only original volks shoes I own, Momo's shoes. chien Posted August 6, 2014 From what I've found, DD feet are 7cm long. 1/4 slim resin BJD (MiniFee, Unoa) feet tend to be 5cm. 1/4 chubby resin BJD (Volks MSD) feet tend to be 5.5cm-- they are also a bit wider and taller. The shoes you have linked are long (6.5cm-7cm), but I don't know if they're wide or tall enough for 1/3 feet because they are not meant for 1/3 dolls. I've primarily owned 1/4 resin boys and the last time I checked, their shoes do not fit my 1/3 DD girl. Like in this photo, you can see that even if there's only a 1cm difference between the foot length, there is still a big difference between the width and height of the feet.
