Another Icon arrives!

Ever since the Dollfie Icons were introduced, I've been a total sucker for them.  I find them to be beautiful and stunning.  My first one ever was Tawny whom I won in the first After Event Lottery when they first announced them.  I tried 4 times after that to get my next one Clover.  Then I found Serra on Ebay and shortly after that Iris on Facebook.  So I had a complete set.

Or so I thought.

Fast forward to a doll meet I attended locally where I saw an Iris/Lilac on the new body.  Her makeup was similar to mine but she was brighter and had a darker tone.  She also had a different wig and some really snazzy earrings.  😄 And of course, as I was admiring her, her owner came up and said that she was for sale.  LOL

So after some chit chat and deal making I wound up taking her home with me...... as you can see here.

She came with this outfit on as well as her full default outfit set.  I like this one quite a bit on her.

Here you can see the differences in them.  Iris is a little lighter shade with her makeup.  But they both have the same eyes.  I'm told these are the harder to get ones but I'm not totally sure on that since I've seen two other Iris/Lilacs with the same ones.

What a lovely family, congrats on the new arrival! I love her waist cincher, it's so elegant!

She's gorgeous and the outfit does look really good on her. I love the photos of Iris and Lilac together they're really cute with their matching color scheme 😀

Thank you very much! Twins always seem to shine brightly don't they?  😉 I can't wait to get other Icons in the future!  My wallet hates the idea tho...  LOL

Congrats on the new girl. I've seen a few appear on YJA recently, and Towa's been bugging me for an alien girl to join our household.

They're definitely an intriguing mix of DD and SD. I'd really love to see one irl, but I guess there aren't too many about.

I think I like Lilac the best. I'd enter the lotteries but being UK based I don't think I can enter the Japan ones or the US ones (if they have US lotteries).

@baldylox Your group sounds like a gem. Congratulations; she's stunning! I've never been able to decide if I like Icons enough to try one or not, but I can't deny how well they photograph. There's insane depth in those faceups, and the eyes add another layer. All of them fit well together too- they're a highly stylish bunch. Lilac will settle right in now that she has the best of company.

Thank you very much!  Your Towa has a good idea, you should totally go for a Lilac!    They are pretty limited in number so far, at last guess I think there's less than 500 of them out there now.  That's of all types and colors.  So if you can get one then count yourself lucky!  We have them in the US but they're for North America only.  Japan is of course Japan only.  But you could always get a proxy to put in a lottery entry for one if you really want a brand new one.  Or you can prowl the aftermarket in search of your pretty alien friend for Towa.

Thank you!  It's a really great group of people that are fun and helpful.  They're also Enablers of the highest caliber.  LOL You're so right about the depth of their face ups and details!  I guess being hand painted allows them that.  And thanks again for the compliments!  😄

While this isn't really a topic to post everyone's Icons in ( it was just me introducing my new one ) I'm happy to see more gorgeous Icons!  Your two are beautiful!  The newest girl Nikki is just sooooo amazing!  I got to see one this past weekend at a doll show and in person her face is just WOW.  So stunning!  You're lucky to have her!  I tried for her in the last lottery but lost.  But I'll try again until I win her!

Thank you very much!  I'm wanting to take the twins out for photos soon, maybe next weekend at my parents place since all their dogwoods and azaleas are blooming.

Thank you!  I agree, the Lilac color is amazing, especially out in the sunlight.  These girls never cease to amaze me.

That purple is so amazing.
I love Iris. I have failed to acquire her every lottery. I have yet to win in any of the Volks doll lotteries thus far.
