My DDB Nines (DD 9S)

My 9S is back with new faceup! Decided to call him Nines to keep it simple.

Simple setup this time as first time doing proper shoot with this boy. He's actually quite photogenic but I should style his wig again as the other side not as appealing, hence all are right sided face for this set of photos. 🤣

Thank you! I think the face up make a lot of difference!

Oh, he looks great! The face-up definitely makes a huge difference. He looks so broody and contemplative in this shoot..

Thanks! Yeah he's definitely not the same gentle 9S anymore, I also realize he looks much better in close up shots due to the semi-realistic feature. 🥰

If I didn't know better I would have thought he is a BJD, beautiful boy!

Thanks! Yeah its quite rare for volks to have semi realistic DD, I hope they will release more realistic sculpt like this! 🥰

They're all great photosets and the White Prince outfit and props are ridiculously good, but I love this one the most. He looks perfect for the outfit and the part, and the wrought iron gate in the backdrop makes it feel like you're trapped in an impending fight against him. Really cool.

Thank you! I really love Nines giving the BJD vibe which suits him to wear elaborate outfits. 
Can't wait to try different style for him! 🥰

Thank you! The white prince setup was by Dolly&Salmon in Thailand, really glad to visit them during my trip 2 weeks ago. 😊
 

Did a samurai theme shoot with my Nines at my local Japanese garden. 
As usual its super hot weather at 30 degree the waterfall was totally dry. 😅

Very well staged, I'm curious how were you managed the airborne shots? I'm assuming you used a specialized stand for that.

I use volks saddle doll stand, its heavy enough and steady to hold the pose.
With the help of photoshop generative fill, the doll stand can be removed easily~
