THESE Nails!

I don't know if this is the right place for this post but I just found these on Etsy and had to share. Has anyone ever tried to do this themselves or bought hands that someone else has customized like this?  I'm tempted to buy them but kind of apprehensive too. This person is in Hong Kong. They have DD and MDD hands.

I've bought from secretscross, and they're reliable but expensive. 
 

If you want nails you can contact @petitglacenails. She's cheaper and so you can see the quality, she did my sailor moon nails here:

 

Gyaru style decanails like that will be expensive, but with her it should be closer to $130. The price will depend on what you choose. She'll make them to suit your doll though, and you can pick the hands you use. Tell her which doll, what your concept is for her, she'll send you some options, and you can further customize. Like I asked to combine elements from two of the offered options to make nails for my Kikuchi Makoto.

She can do feet too. My Miki Hoshii got fingers and toes with Sakura Blossoms on them, and my Ami Mizuno got feet with her Sailor Mercury zodiac on the big toe.

There is some reflection on the nails from the flash so you can ignore the white streaks.

Makoto's nails. She needed nails that hinted at femininity without being super girly, and we added little bows because she loves frilly things:

Ami's feet:

Usagi's Sailor Moon feet.

 

Miki's cherry blossom nails. I got another set with a pink base too:

 

If you do get some, I have her pre-install wrist pegs on each hand. It adds to the cost, but you really don't want to wrestle the hands on to the pegs each time you use them, it's only a matter of time before you slip and they break. The inclusion of a peg makes it an easy install on the doll.

KuddlePussKustoms and AliceSistersDolls on Etsy do custom nails on dd hands, AliceSistersDolls also does blushing for an extra fee. They’re both in the US.

I want to say it took her between 7- 10 days, but I'm sure she was doing the work in her spare time. Just realize that was only part of the order. I think I got a total of 6 sets of hands, and the two sets of feet. 

Any idea how they get that kind of effect? Do they shape down gel-x nails and then do them as normal from there? I'd be really interested in learning how to do this!

They may be making them from UV resin. There are some YouTube videos on making doll nails that way.

Doll nails just keep amazing me every time I see them. These are just to beautiful and intricate in such a small scale.
Hope to be able to get my girls nails someday...

I def need to make it a point to get nails for all my DD girls because they need nice things

These are so cool! Where do they get the tiny nails? Can you do gel nail onto the vinyl? Hands are cheap enough it might be worth trying!
