Question about address format on Volks jp site

Hello! I'm trying to buy a body from Volks jp international site, but have been struggling with how to input my US address into the order page. Specifically, whenever I enter my zip code in the postal code box, but then when I go to the page to confirm order details, it moves the post code to the front of the address and puts the "〒" character in front of it, which I think might be due to Japanese address formatting but I'm worried it will screw up the delivery process once it arrives in the US. I tried contacting Volks to ask what I should do and they said to put the zip code into the postal code box and the rest of my address in the address 1 box. Additionally, I saw some people say that putting a US zip code in the postal code box glitches the order and to just put the zip code in the address 1 box instead, but the site specifically says "For customers living outside Japan: please enter your postal code accurately. Without an accurate postal code, we may not be able to send your order to your address. (if you do not have a postal code for your address, please enter 000000)" so I'm a bit confused on what to do.

Has anyone with a US address ordered from the jp site recently and had everything go smoothly? If so, could you please tell me how you put in your address? Did your zip code get moved to the front as well? I would really appreciate your help!

I put my zip code in the post code field - then I put street address, city, and state in the city address field. I ordered last month and had no issues with the delivery. It did get moved to the front too.
