Dunno how much the order method affects the shipping. my last year doll items went as such, 8800yen for a DDS, 4400yen for a MDD and 7750yen for a Dynamite bodied doll. all through DHL to finland The DDS was a clickwar, the MDD a lottery win, and the Dynamite a clickwar with shipping some time later. Xiongmao Posted May 15, 2023 I was trying to find the shipping fee for my recently ordered Kaito, but it doesn't give a full breakdown. I think shipping a doll costs around 50 GBP. Be aware you might get a customs charge (and additional fee) on top of this. In the UK it's 20% of the order total (including shipping - grrr). I just paid 120 GBP to ship stuff from Buyee to the UK using Fedex. That cost 120 GBP but I had 19 items including a very heavy anime art book. My Dollfie doll family December 2024 😊. Monty Posted May 18, 2023 This is to Australia, but just to put more estimates in here: according to the price breakdown in my receipt, Kaito was 7750 JPY plus a 2200 handling fee. In comparison, back in 2021 Meiko was 5200 with a 3450 handling fee. I assume their boxes are about the same size so that’s 9950 for Kaito and 8650 for Meiko. (While Meiko was less overall, I’m still not sure why her handling fee was more…?) I’m not sure what DD you ordered, but since you said preorder is it Rin/Len or Kaito? They actually have bigger boxes than usual for DDs, which could affect shipping, just in case you get conflicting reports of DD shipping fees to your country. *twitter*instagram*art* Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
chef_mai Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) The box sizes can vary as mentioned above, but you can get an exact estimate (minus customs charges) by putting the desired item in your cart on the Volks site, pretend to check out and see what they'll bill you. Volks is a little weird in that their shipping cost is pretty opaque. They ship via DHL, which is primarily volume based (which means that within the same volume category, it'll be the same cost unless it's a super heavy thing), but even if you're ordering just outfits, the cost rises with each item you add despite the box size not increasing.
