Interesting Mods & Hybrids (NSFW for doll nudity)

I've seen some pretty cool mods on twitter so I thought it would be fun to have a thread for sharing cool mods we have seen or done! Hybrids are also welcome!
I wasn't sure which section to put this under since its not really specific to a particular brand. Also topic is NSFW for doll nudity.

Anyways I saw this really cool DDS and DDdy hybrid with shortened legs

I also saw this really cool DDS mod where the torso and limbs were shortened to be the same height as a MDD. I lost the post though but it had a comparison picture of it versus the normal MDD. The proportions looked great and there wasn't any apparent gapping.

My favourite mod is LongDD!

 

Basically they’ve just doubled a bunch of the body parts and increased her height by about 20cm. If you look closely at her limbs you can see how they’ve lengthened them by joining two upper arms, two lower arms etc. The effect reminds me of Yuko from xxxHolic.

The same user also created what they’re calling a DDGrenade - Dynamite proportions on a small body.

Long DD is looong.

There was someone who wanted to make a taller Mochi Ashi using all Obitsu parts and ended up using a hybrid of Angel Philia (C) torso, Dollypop legs and 45cm arms to make something that looks nice.

I personally would use an AP bust directly for better visual continuity, but the look as a whole is pretty great.

i love the DDGrenade idea so much, do you by chance know what parts they used? or did they have to modify/sculpt?

Unless I’m misunderstanding they’ve only used the DDDy (with a peach pai bust) and shortened things. They mentioned that it’s their most cost-effective mod due to only needing one Dy body.

Found a post where this person turned a bust inside out and shaved the insides to make the vinyl thinner, thus more flexible 

 

decided to check out that person's account and oh my gosh, look at this 4-armed obitsu cyclops girl...! they seem to have many very cute modded girls!

That's pretty clever! Reminds me of the softness of an Angel Philia bust.

I hybrid AP parts to fit the OB40 frame for a shortstack! Here they are next to a Smartdoll boy (60cm?)

This person made a DDP/DDdy/MDD hybrid that looks like a pear DDP!
