Is it safe to use blue bubblewrap?

Recommended Posts

Vampurrr

Heya!
I just sold a couple of my SmDs, and I am preparing them for shipping.
I noticed I ran out of my clear bubblewrap.
The only bubblewrap I have right now is blue, but maybe I am overthinking it - could it potentially stain the dolls if I use blue bubblewrap? Or is there no actual dye that could transfer?

Thank you!

I've seen someone's doll get blue stains, and she was wrapped in bubble wrap. I don't know if it was specifically the bubble wrap, but I would err on the side of caution. If you have paper towels, wrap the doll in them first so that the colored bubble wrap doesn't touch her skin.

Paper towels are absorbent, so I'd wonder if they are the best thing for preventing bleed. A doll can absolutely get stains from paper towel with print on it. The dyes are not fixed, and that happened to one of mine. I stained her just wiping her off with a paper towel with flower print.

I'd grab some clear wrap from the post or the store.

The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be.

“Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction

That's a good thought, honestly. Any kind of humidity could cause dye transfer. Sorry, didn't think of that ♥

What about blank newspaper? You can pick it up at moving/ storage places and that’s what my mother used to pack her fine china. Before she bubble wrapped it lol!
