patterns Super dollfie

 

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good sewing patterns for clothing items such as shirts, skirts, dresses, and pants that would fit a Super Dollfie size. I am really interested in starting a new sewing project and am on the hunt for patterns that would work well for this size of doll. If any of you have any recommendations or suggestions, I would be very grateful to hear them. Thank you in advance for your help!

Assuming you're sewing for a DD or similarly built doll, rather than an SD10, Smart Doll Guru has a great list of free patterns. The more fitted ones may not be compatible, but the looser or elastic ones typically work in my experience. (You may also need to remove your doll's head to fit some of them on.) 

Missy's Imaginings has a ton of free patterns, and you can find more if you search the blog. They do tend to be more elaborate, and they're a little big for DD, but there are some sets with simpler pieces. Search the blog for videos with sewing instructions.

If you're willing to buy patterns, I would recommend checking for Smartdoll patterns on Etsy. UnderOrange and Requiem Art Designs both have a nice range of patterns with clear instructions. Though you might want to wait a bit before ordering anything from Requiem Art. To celebrate their anniversary, they're designing a pattern set that will be free with any purchase, but the 1/3 version isn't out yet.

I've moved this topic because Super Dollfie and other resins are off topic in the main forum. It's fine to discuss them here. The main subject of posts in the main forum needs to be vinyl dolls with other types of dolls being peripheral to the discussion. 

For example: Asking what Super Dollfie pattern size best fits a Dollfie Dream would be fine in the main forum, but asking which Dollfie Dream pattern size best fits an SD16 would not be ok in the main forum.
