FAQ: Answer - Stain Removal

Recommended Posts

Since this is such a frequency asked question I thought I'd write a few quick simple tips for Dollfie Dream stain removal

1. Magic Eraser - White foam household cleaning sponge.

Useful for light stains

Caution - be careful when using them around painted parts of your DD or any coated parts though as it can remove paint.

For tougher stains use

2. Benzoyl Peroxide - ie pimple cream. - availabe at chemists - check the label on the cream packaging the higher the BP content the better

Use small cotton bud or toothpick and apply it to the affected area (take care you dont touch any painted or coated area of your DD!) - Apply a thick amount! Your daughter has pimples!! Leave dollfie in a bright lighted area for some hours. Remove the cream and reapply until you are satisfied. For really nasty stains it takes a few applications

3. Remove Zit

Pretty similar to pimple cream except its more effective. This stuff is pretty amazing. I had an enormous problem with my Rin from her black stockings and wig and this stuff fixed it all.

Once again... for the record - be veeeery careful when applying any of the above to parts of the Dollfie which are painted or coated such as blushed as the above treatment (esp the last 2) will wipe it all off!

Good thing to hear the Twin Pines stuff really works! I bought the recommended items a while ago, but I haven't had the chance to use them yet. The acne cream can be a little tedious, I think.

Also when using benzoyl peroxide , please be sure you wipe ALL of it off when you're done! Any remnants will bleach through clothing - I learned this the hard way, heh.
