They fit without modding! As for the hands, I will admit I’d trimmed them a tiny bit to fit the original pegs better. BUT, they’re a tad loose. So they’d probably fit just fine without!

Niceee! In that case I will just throw in a couple of MDD pegs in my next Volks order.

on the listing it says Milk for Imomo doll color, which would that be?  I've only seen them sold in tan and milk but that of course is a English reseller site.

At what size are you looking? 1/6, 1/4 or 75?

1/4 but I would assume it'd be the same color for the other sizes??

Ehhhh yes and no. Only the 68/75 comes in caramel, vanilla and powder sugar. And even then, the caramel for 68 was COMPLETELY different than the one for 75!!

 

Anyhow, the “Imomo half-white” pictured is what the 1/6 and 1/4 come in. 

Is this just a me problem, or are Imomodolls way harder to seal with MSC than other dolls? I've never had problems with my MSC and the weather is good, but I've had two Imomodolls in a row not fully seal during the faceup process.

Some people in another thread were saying this too! I admit I haven't had this experience though, all of the faceups I've done have been pretty standard for vinyl.

What particular issue are you noticing? Like the sealant doesn't fully/properly cure? Or like your faceup progress washes off with water easily?

I painted 7 Imomo heads so far and I can't say that I had any problems or out of the ususal experiences with how MSC sealed those.

The issue I've been noticing is that a layer of sealant will cure properly (IE no shiny or sticky spots), but will not actually adhere things to the vinyl that well. Like, I can draw eyebrows in watercolor pencil, seal them, and then end up wiping them with water on the next layer. I also feel like my MSC has less "tooth" on the vinyl? Still entirely possible it's some kind of error on my end, but it's happened on two Imomodolls so far and none of my other guys.

You could try a layer of Liquitex. It has a lot of tooth if you dab it on with a makeup sponge.

Put tan AP feet on my Imomo feet frames. There is some warping and the color match isn’t perfect, but they look soooooo nice and fit the shoes better!!

Considering snagging some more 1/6 or 1/4 Imomodoll heads to practice face-ups on, but I'm torn on which I should get...any opinions? I already have a Riika in milk and a Maru in chocolate, but I like basically every sculpt so it's making it hard to narrow anything down beyond that. Love to know which sculpts yall like!

Azone 50 dresses fit my Harley. Next time I get paid l am going to buy the azone 45 clothes. Pay no mind to her with no eyes l am trying to find a pair of good eyes for her.

I am very fond of Toppa and Toppi personally.

This shop here has a 1/6 scale selection that I like a lot, they also offer customization, so you can make sure that the pants fit as well.

No problem! Idk how they’ll look on a midi/Miko body, but they look pretty smooth on a 1/4Imoboy body! I’m probably gonna take them back out and carve down the foot frame parts so there is less bulging though 😂.

Idk about any taobao stores, but I do know that YOSD fit pretty good and you can find a good selection of second hand stuff on Dollyteria and Mandarake!

Could someone try one of the 1/4 heads and/or a ddh01 on the 1/6 body? The neck size doesn't matter. I just need to see the proportions.

I already replace the wrist of my NS imomodoll and it works, so I was wondering if it was possibe with the whole body. Imomodoll body is so beautifull in shape but internal frame really sucks T-T

I haven’t *seen* people do it. But I’ve heard that people have!

I should really try swapping the skeleton on my Imomodoll body for an MDD one! My main concern may be the legs, and the fact that it's the one piece boy body, but I think it could work better for Hansel if I try!

I mean, the 1/4 ImoBoy looks pretty much the same as the MDD asexual body and I bet the asexual body uses the same MDD frame even with it being a unitorso as well. 😊
