Okay Hack came in and now I have painted both these are Lovino and Alfred!

Anyone with a Chaimi head?? I heard that its a 1/3 head? But that's what I've heard. I have a friend currently working on a face up for this head in China, so I do not have it with me in hand for now.

It's a 1/3 head insofar as MDD heads are technically 1/3 heads. However, it definitely looks fine on 1/4 bodies!

Lovely!! I was thinking about maybe switching the imomo head to a MDD or a DDS but I'm wondering if it would look quite off. The joints on my imomo feel so loose, I'm not sure what I can do with it anymore/

Dismantle the Ankle and Knee Joints, layer the radial joint Disc sides with PVC Tape. Both Sides; one layer per.

poke holes in the PVC in the center of each to allow for the joint Screw to pass through.

carefully reassemble, and tighten screw down firmly.

This should yield you a set of TIGHT joints, giving your girl firm legs that should hold her standing weight just fine for the long term.

Finally, line/stuff the Vinyl leg-shells (Upper/Lower) with Polyfil Batting; either Loose or Sheet.

this should self-center and dampen the loose, free movement of the leg shells hung upon the inner body frame

as they are with the IMOMODOLL body.

 

I Did All of this for my "Yuna" (Mayoko) shown above... and she has benefited wonderfully from it~

I’ll give this a try! The stuffing reminds me of something as similar to angelphilia dolls. I want to be able to use my imomodoll without any issues, so I am excited to give this a try.

Do any of you know of good English language proxy sellers for imomodoll specifically?

I've been going with Jane's Doll Land for most of my previous purposes, but given the limited nature of her current stock, I was hoping to look for other places where I could buy the brand without having to rely on online website translators that may be inaccurate.

So I'm making a hybrid Imomodoll head + MDD body, but the head is pretty loose. Does anyone have DIY suggestions for how to stabilize it?

I'd say putting the silicone washers that usually come with the Imomo heads should make it pretty stable. Or are they too lose for the neck peg of the MDD?

They're too loose unfortunately. I tried the washers that came with the MDD but it gets loose quickly. I think they're just a little small to make the head stable.

I saw these on Jane's! They're so cute. I *think* that body is the regular 1/6 imomo, and that this head is larger making the body look smaller. I only say that because the measurements of this new Lulu head is 24cm and the other 1/6 imomo heads are 18.5cm. I could be wrong though!

It looks like they’re doing the same thing TinyFox did recently—putting a 1/3 head on a 1/6 body. This actually doesn’t look too bad…

I did see that one a few weeks ago on their taobao, it's very cute! Droopy eyes always get me, although I don't think I will get one.

But yeah, I can second that this is just the regular 1/6 body.

Pretty sure it’s on the newer imomo body, the longer and skinny looking one. The other new cat head is on the older body but with animal parts. Still waiting for it to show up outside of Taobao.
